Verulamium Park is named after the Roman City of Verulamium on which it stands. The outline of the London Gate can be seen and the Verulamium Museum displays many remarkable objects that have been excavated from the ground.

De Havilland Aircraft Museum’s mission is to preserve and communicate the de Havilland Heritage to ensure that current and future years of all ages will understand de Havilland’s effort to innovate the British Aviation technology. The New Hangar at the museum will offer additional facilities, which will enable more aircraft to be under cover from all weathers, as well as providing visitors with an educational and practical experience.

Heartwood Forest is a new forest and has over half a million trees, ancient woodland and beautiful wildflower meadows – perfect for wildlife spotting! The Woodland Trust’s Heartwood Forest is one of St Alban’s most popular attractions.

St Albans Clock Tower is a great example of medieval history. The monument is popular with locals and visitors and was built around 1405, as a symbol of the local’s resistance against the power of the abbot of St Albans.

The Clock Tower is generally open from Easter (Good Friday) to the end of September, every Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holiday, between approximately 10.30am and 5pm. Last admission 4.45pm.
