1. New Brighton

New Brighton is a great sea side resort, which forms part of the town of Wallasey. It is located on the north eastern tip of the Wirral Peninsula, which was once within the historic county boundaries of Cheshire.  It had wonderful sandy beaches, along with the Irish Sea. It is also home to the England’s longest promenade.

New Brighton has been around since 1826 and with it getting more popular with hotels, pools and a pier, it brings thousands of visitors each year. The seaside resort is also well known by people of all generations who have visited New Brighton, either has a child or with their own children. 2. Ness Botanic Gardens

Ness Botanic Gardens is situated on the Wirral, offering amazing views across the River Dee to North Wales. The Botanic Gardens offers something for everyone, packed with family activities from star gazing to trails and workshops. The beautiful gardens are also popular for wedding venues.

The garden has beautiful snowdrop displays in February and continues into spring with many other seasonal flowers. In the summer, the vegetable garden stars to show a range of colours as well as the gardens being popular with the local wildlife. You will see over 600 species of birds, mammals, bees and butterflies, so make sure to take lots of photos!

3. Tatton Park

Tatton Park is located in 1,000 acres of the most picturesque deer back and was the former Egerton family home, which is now open to the public for people to visit. There is a lot of history to uncover at the Medieval Old Hall, where you can experience life above and below stairs in the Mansion. You can walk around the gardens and Mansion and explore the rare breeds of animals that live at the working farm. There is so much to do and see at Tatton Park.

There is also a café called the Stableyard, where you can relax with your favourite food and drink. Throughout the year there are over 100 events and exhibitions that take place at the park throughout the year, for everyone to enjoy such as classic car shows, flower shows and outdoor concerts.

If you fancy a bit of shopping, there are many new shopping experiences at Tatton Park, as well as a gift shop where you can buy jams, teas, English wines and more.
